Applications have opened for the 22nd China International Agricultural Trade Fair (CATF).
An announcement made by the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade said that the fair will be held from October 17 to 19 in Tianjin, China.
The announcement also stated that the Government of the People’s Republic of China has informed that the opportunity to exhibit and purchase Maldivian products has been opened to Maldivian businesses.
The CATF is visited by businesses in the agricultural, seafood, fisheries, import and wholesale sectors as well as the general public from China and various other countries around the world. The fair will feature a variety of activities to promote business relationships and business opportunities among the participants.
Additionally, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of China will provide booth fees and cover the booth construction costs of the first 08 Maldivian businesses to register for the fair.
This fair is an important opportunity to promote and market Maldives’ agricultural and seafood products.
