The National Single Window “Tradian” is set to begin operations in the coming week.
In an announcement made jointly today by TradeNet Maldives Corporation Limited (which operates the Tradian platform), Maldives Customs Service, Maldives Ports Limited, Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation, and Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, it was stated that four services provided by government agencies operating at borders related to import and export activities will be provided exclusively through the “Tradian” platform starting from Sunday, September 21, 2025.
Services that will be available only through the Tradian platform from September 21, 2025:
- Foreign Going Vessel Registry
- Vessel Arrival/Departure Information Submission (ETA/ETD)
- Sea Cargo Manifest Submission
- Pork and Liquor Import Permit Application
According to the announcement, these services through the “Tradian” platform will be accessible only to freight forwarders, shipping agents, importers, and exporters who are registered on the “Tradian” platform.
