The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade held a meeting today, wit ha high-level delegation from the Yunnan Provincial Energy Investment Group (YEIG).

The visit follows earlier discussions during the 9th China–South Asia Exposition and aims to strengthen cooperation in the renewable energy sector.

YEIG, a leading provincial SOE driving Yunnan’s energy strategy and international projects, presented their preliminary analysis of the Maldivian renewable energy market.

The meeting also focused on exploring future collaboration opportunities.
