The Maldives–Sri Lanka Business Forum 2026 was successfully held at the Hilton Colombo, bringing together government officials, business leaders, and investors from both countries to strengthen bilateral economic cooperation.

The forum was attended by Mohamed Muizzu and honoured by the presence of Harini Amarasuriya, alongside senior officials and private sector representatives from the Maldives and Sri Lanka.

The forum featured a series of strategic presentations, including an overview of the Maldives’ investment landscape delivered by Invest Maldives. The presentation highlighted key investment opportunities, economic incentives, and initiatives aimed at supporting long-term economic growth.

Dedicated sessions on the tourism and fisheries sectors further highlighted opportunities for collaboration, with a focus on sustainability, value addition, and expanding market access.
