The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade has published the latest updates on inspections of businesses operating illegally.

According to the Ministry, a total of 252 complaints were received regarding illegally operating businesses between 29 November 2025 and 15 December 2025. During this period, inspections were conducted at 98 businesses, resulting in the closure of 37 businesses.

Of those closed, 25 were shut down for violations of laws under the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, while 12 were closed for violations of other applicable laws.

Additionally, permits to reopen were granted to eight businesses.
