Maldives Ports Limited (MPL) has confirmed that a total of 1,306 containers have been cleared from Malé Commercial Harbour between 31st August 2025 to 6th September 2025.
According to the statistics released by MPL, the cleared containers include 452 of 20-foot containers and 427 of 40-foot containers.
In terms of cleared goods from Malé Harbour, the largest quantity was eggs. This included 11,730 packages of eggs, 7,160 packages of onions, 5,721 packages of watermelons, 4,559 packages of potato, 3,636 packages of tomatoes and 2,640 packages of pineapples.
Additionally, 2,743 packages of cabbage, 1,835 packages of bananas, 1,017 packages of pumpkins, and 522 packages of sweet melons were cleared by MPL.
