Engaging Minds: Building Economic Resilience Together”, a multi-agency initiative in collaboration with the Ministry, Business Cooperation Centre (BCC), SME Development Finance Corporation (SDFC), and Tradenet, highlighted various initiatives to drive economic growth, resilience and diversification over the past year.

The Business Ideation Session was aimed for the students of Adh. Mahibadhoo School, studying in the Business and Science stream. The session aimed to inspire and empower Maldivian youth by encouraging them to share their perspectives on economic challenges, contribute ideas for future initiatives, and amplify their voices in policymaking.

During this Business Ideation Session, students received guidance on essential steps for starting a business and explored the efforts made by the Ministry to create economic opportunities. Opportunities within the creative economy and entrepreneurial sphere were shared, encouraging youth to create, innovate and take proactive role in economic development.

This initiative aspires to engage young minds, foster innovation, and build a resilient foundation for sustainable economic growth in the Maldives.
