The opportunity to participate in the 26th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFAIT), scheduled to be held in Xiamen, China this September, has been opened to Maldivian companies and those engaged in industrial activities.

This fair is an annual international investment exhibition organized by China’s Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM). This year’s fair is scheduled to be held from September 8 to 11.

The main objective of the fair is to provide a platform that practically facilitates investments and to establish an environment where broad discussions on investment and policies can be held. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to take part in business-to-business (B2B) sessions, investment seminars, and project roadshows.

Maldivian companies interested in participating in the fair are requested by the Ministry to complete an online application through the fair’s official website at www.chinafair.org.cn. After completing the application, the Ministry also requests that participation details be emailed to [email protected].
