The “Addu Business Dialogue,” aimed at enhancing the participation of small and medium enterprises operating in Addu City in shaping their future development, has officially commenced today.

The forum, being held from the 13th to the 14th of this month, is part of the Government’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the economy beyond Malé and create greater opportunities for businesses across the atolls. It is an initiative organized under the vision of President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu to increase the participation of businesses throughout the Maldives in economic activities across all sectors.

Through this dialogue, consultations will be held on the challenges faced by businesses in Addu City, while also seeking the views and recommendations of the business community in formulating policies needed to support business growth.

The Government’s objective through such engagements is to expand economic opportunities across different regions of the country and strengthen the national economy. These efforts are expected to further stimulate economic activity in Addu City and open new opportunities for small and medium enterprises.
