Minister of Economic Development and Trade Mohamed Saeed held a meeting with Mr. Emir Gelen, Head of Government Relations and Public Policy for METAPSA at TikTok, on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland, on Wednesday.

The discussion focused on advancing TikTok monetization opportunities for local content creators, in line with the manifesto pledges of His Excellency President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu.

This engagement builds on ongoing partnership efforts, including TikTok’s recent delegation visit to the Maldives and continued initiatives led by the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade.
