ATM services have been inaugurated in Dh. Meedhoo in collaboration with the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade and Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB).

The ceremony was inaugurated by Minister of Economic Development and Trade Mohamed Saeed.

Under the government’s policy to establish a system where all essential financial services are available in one place on every inhabited island of the Maldives, an agreement was signed between the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade and Maldives Islamic Bank on November 7, 2024, to install ATMs and provide ATM services on all inhabited islands of the Maldives. Under this agreement, 23 ATMs will be installed on 19 islands.
