Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Mohamed Saeed, observed the match between Maldives and Bangladesh at the Commonwealth Beach Handball Championship 2025.

In this match against Bangladesh, the Maldivian team won with a score of 2-1. The Maldivian team also secured third place in the overall tournament.
