Minister Saeed attended the official inauguration of Maafaru International Airport, following the completion of Phase 2 of the airport development, financed by the Abu Dhabi fund.

In his remarks, Minister emphasized that the project marks a transformative milestone in the Maldives national development journey.

Aligned with President Dr Mohamed Muizzu’s Vision 2040 and broader agenda for economic transformation, this strategic project is set to significantly boost infrastructure capacity, drive sustainable economic growth, and strengthen the Maldives’ position as a world-class destination for tourism and global investment.
