State Minister Hussain Zamir and officials from the Ministry have departed for China to join the 8th China-South Asia Expo and the 28th Kunming Import and Export Fair. The event features participants from over 80 countries.

The delegation also attended the opening ceremony of the 28th Kunming Import and Export Fair this morning. Two Maldivian SMEs are showcasing their products, offering a key opportunity to promote Maldivian goods globally.

The expo runs from July 23rd to July 28th, providing Maldivian SMEs a chance to expand their international presence. State Minister Zamir highlighted the event’s significance for Maldivian businesses to grow and establish partnerships abroad.

The delegation aims to strengthen economic ties and explore collaborations with other nations. This reflects Maldives’ commitment to economic diplomacy and global trade growth.
